I'm here after Chytia's presentation on "Voice of Romania" and this seems to be his first conversation somewhere in youtube before he became well known. I'm sad that Djulieta is disconnected from the reality of third world countries, especially Madagascar, one of the poorest in the world, where for almost part of people 1-2 dollars a day is real income. 50 euros/month could be a nice salary, because most of the people don't even have a paid job. I want to remember that at the beginning of years 2000 when I left Molodva my salary as a doctor was little more than 20 dollars a month, 2 times worse than in Madagascar, so I'm a little frustrated about the reaction of moldovan girl about incomes in Madagascar even Moldova has a backslide to african level sometime in the recent past and soon we gonna face another period like that. Madagascar is a unique place from many points of view. Have been 2 times, trying to live with families on the island, when possible. Cynthia seems to be from Grand Plateau if she speaks about avocados, because only a limited area has this fruit. Last time I filled all my luggage with avocados from Bazar Be (market) in Antsirabe at 800 ariary/kg and the local vendor was thrilled by the idea his avocados would touch Paris. Most people struggle in everyday activities, but still are decent in social interactions and their philosophy to affront life. Amazing children and sweet girls (but not for marriage, it doesn't work). Quite every day I had a nice experience, enjoying life in paradise. A desired place where to come back and live even in poverty for some time but breathing the air of Malagasy...

What's the difference between moldovan and romanian language beside the accent?

I don't understand why the houses are built like if it's in on a third world island, like my island. Its cold in moldova i assume the same as canada. Or northern usa.

Moldova is a country easy to adapt to unless you act like a jerk. The country and it's people might be poor, but they are not miserable. nd ths is a country where civility is still dominant.

The main reason there is an apparent online conflict or perceived quirk between the way Moldovans speak romanian and the way the rest of the country does has to do with poles of power. Muntenians(Southerners) have a funny way of speaking romanian as well, they are simply not critical of it because national-communism/Ceausim/romanian communism had the cultural power pole consolidated in the South of the country rather then the West(Transylvania) or the East(Moldova) and as such, chauvinism in naturally stronger here.
